Solid Bronze Tava Pendant with Verdigris Patina.
My personal favourites in my Hepworth Collection are the Tava (Cornish for Touch) pieces. Inspired by Barbara Hepworth’s sculpture ‘Sphere in Form’ which was her interpretation of a Mother and Child. I designed this piece when my Mother was ill with the thought of a Mother’s touch. She sadly passed away but I know she touched the prototype in the design stage, so it will always have a special significance to me. Every piece I make is unique and this Tava Pendant is Solid Bronze with verdigris patination, staying true to its Hepworth roots. I hope it touches your heart too. It comes with a free 18″ Rose Gold plated Sterling Silver chain ready to wear.
The Solid Bronze has been inscribed with my Makers Mark and has a Sterling Silver bail. It is approximately 15mm at the widest parts and weighs 6.21g.

Verdigris Patina is applied to the Solid Bronze. It leaves the stunning green enhancement that you see here. It is protected by a layer of varnish.
