Sterling Silver Amethyst ‘Tava’ Touch Pendant & Sterling Silver Chain

This beautiful tactile pendant has been hand carved in wax and then cast in recycled solid Sterling Silver. Inspired by a Mother’s touch (Tava is Cornish for touch), it is the ultimate comfort piece set with a fabulous faceted African Amethyst. You will find yourself constantly reaching for it, a perfect fidget pendant. Inspired by a sculpture the gemstone is like the colours seen through the void in the evening light. Though small the inner feel and touch of the piece is very soothing and comforting in the hand.

I was inspired by a visit to the Sculpture Gardens in St Ives. Many of my pieces were created after seeing some of the amazing shapes and forms on display, even the voids are carefully placed to intrigue and invite touch. I hope that the feelings I have put into my work translates into a beautiful piece of wearable art jewellery for you to enjoy.

The pendant size is approx 15mm by 15mm & it weighs 5.45 grams.
