Solid Bronze Tava Pendant with Verdigris Patina.
My personal favourites in my Hepworth Collection are the Tava (Cornish for Touch) pieces. Â Inspired by Barbara Hepworth’s sculpture ‘Sphere in Form’ which was her interpretation of a Mother and Child. Â I designed this piece when my Mother was ill with the thought of a Mother’s touch. Â She sadly passed away but I know she touched the prototype in the design stage, so it will always have a special significance to me. Â Every piece I make is unique and this Tava Pendant is Solid Bronze with verdigris patination, staying true to its Hepworth roots. Â I hope it touches your heart too. Â It comes with a free 18″ Rose Gold plated Sterling Silver chain ready to wear.
The Solid Bronze has been inscribed with my Makers Mark and has a Sterling Silver bail. Â It is approximately 15mm at the widest parts and weighs 6.21g.
