Solid Bronze Tava Ring set on a Solid Sterling Silver hammered band.

My personal favourites in my Hepworth Collection are the Tava (Cornish for Touch) pieces.  Inspired by Barbara Hepworth’s sculpture ‘Sphere in Form’ which was her interpretation of a Mother and Child.  I designed and carved this piece when my Mother was ill with the thought of a Mother’s touch.  She sadly passed away but I know she touched the prototype in the design stage, so it will always have a special significance to me.  Every piece I make is unique and this Tava Ring is Solid Bronze set on a solid hammer Sterling Silver band.  I hope it touches your heart too.

The Solid Bronze and Sterling Silver band ring has been inscribed with my Makers Mark.  It is approximately 15mm at the widest parts the front Tava piece.  The band is approx 3mm wide and it weighs 7.34g in total.
