Frosa Awen Solid Silver and London Blue Topaz Necklace

Frosa Solid Sterling Silver handcrafted chain, with integral Solid Silver Awen Pendant which is set with a luxurious London Blue Topaz cabochon. All completed with a Solid Silver Tava toggle clasp.  This is the pinnacle of my Hepworth Collection all bought together in one superb piece.

The handmade Frosa, (Cornish for Flow), chain is multilayered ,with double alternate links being textured with a pattern of rippling water.  It flows and glimmers around your neck effortlessly.

Design inspiration for the Awen(Cornish for Inspiration) central pendant is from the ‘Garden Sculpture’ by Barbara Hepworth. The planes & shapes of this design and even the voids are carefully considered. They are not uniform or flat but are tactile and interesting and the gemstones reflects the feeling of colour glimpsed through the voids in the original sculpture.  The London Blue Topaz glows within, as if suspended by magic in a Sterling Silver tube setting.

The clasp is a Solid Sterling Silver Tava, (Cornish for Touch), piece with a hand forged toggle at the other end to attach.

Every piece I make is unique and individual, but this complete necklace is pure unadulterated  luxury.

The Solid Sterling Silver is fully Hallmarked, both on the Tava clasp and the Awen integral pendant, which is set with the stunning London Blue Topaz.

The overall length of the piece is just over 60cm and the length when worn is approximately 29cm The central integral pendant is approximately 45mm at the longest  and 22mm at the widest parts. In total the whole necklace weighs 44.69g.

An absolutely unique one off, stunning piece of desirable and wearable art.
